Mercado do Bolhão is located in the heart of the city of Porto. The market is housed in a two-tier covered building and there are four main entrances that take you to the different levels. In this market-place you can buy everything, from fresh fruit to household goods. In 1839 the Oporto City Council planned to concentrate all the citys markets into one location.
